Just couldn’t wait

First of all, you may notice that my reel is now bigger and has much better, non-ear-injuring sound.

It’s all thanks to my good friend Michaelle who is a Final Cut ninja. She’s helped me a lot, and provided me with my own copy of FCP which I must now learn to use.

Secondly, I’ve graduated from AM, but that doesn’t mean I’m out of the club. I’ve been peer buddying students in the program this term and continuing to participate in the forums, events, etc…including the weekly theme sketch. I feel like I’m really starting to get into the groove of these weekly sketches, so I’m going to share the ones I’ve done so far even though there are still several weeks left to go.

Kris Rideout- Fine Interior Design now coming to NYC

My friend Kris has just taken a marketing job that will take her permanently to New York City. While sad to see her leave this coast, I’m glad that she’s grabbing an exciting opportunity. We recently worked up this little site to showcase her other career as a freelance interior designer:

SomeRandomDude – I knew him back when

For the last couple of years my former classmate (well design lab mate really- we never actually were in the same class because he was 2 years ahead of me) PJ Onori has been keeping a very cool blog about his design process and web development issues.  Yeah, he’s one of those people who can full on code and make stuff pretty.  He just relaunched a totally re-designed, feature rich version that I have no doubt will make him internet famous.
